Why do I look so sad? The answer may be found by checking out the size of my right ear. A few days following some recent surgery, my ear swelled to double it's normal size. I kept freaking out thinking my ear would get so big they would have to amputate it, but Colby was convinced I was fine and that it was normal following surgery.
I decided to get a professional opinion, and after 10 days of antibiotics I am doing much much better!
Colby thought that whole thing was hilarious because it was so easy for me to make the funny "monkey face" without having to pull out my ears. Here he is trying to be as cool as me!

Nice face Colby. Have you ever considered having Mike Tyson bite half of it off for you? Poor clubbed ear.
Glad you are healing. Aren't husband's sweet and understanding. He will be awesome when your pregnant and post pardum-ey. But think of all the pleasure you will get when he is old and you can push him in his wheel chair and torture him to get even.

How sad... Derek was looking at this with me and says that your husband is a wierdo- this is the type of thing he has to deal with all day at work..
yikes, that can't be fun. i hope that your ear will have returned to normal size by saturday-- actually, nevermind. i hope it is still huge so we can see it :).
